- Regional Logistics & Pallet Freight: For remote or extended regions, we may utilize a one-man doorstep service or premium pallet freight depending on the order framework. If your delivery destination is in Scotland, Cornwall, Devon, or remote areas of Wales and the Lake District, please contact our concierge team to clarify your exact delivery experience.
- Scottish Delivery Provisions: Delivery of oversized furniture items to Scotland and the Highlands may incur additional surcharges at checkout. However, we are pleased to offer complimentary delivery to Scotland on all orders exceeding £1,500.00.
Upon dispatch, you will receive a formal confirmation email containing your designated delivery method, tracking parameters, and your confirmed delivery date.
Inventory & Awaiting Stock
Should an item be temporarily out of stock at the time of purchase, you will be notified immediately, and the item will be prioritized for dispatch the moment it arrives. While we rely on estimated lead times provided directly by our luxury manufacturers, these schedules can occasionally shift at short notice. We endeavor to communicate any logistical changes to you immediately to prevent disappointment.
Important Delivery Requirements & Re-delivery Surcharges
- Parcel Deliveries: DPD and standard couriers can hold parcels for a maximum of 7 days. If a delivery window is missed, please contact the courier immediately to arrange re-delivery. Items returned to sender due to non-collection will incur return and re-delivery fees.
- Freight & Two-Man Deliveries: If you formally confirm a delivery window for pallet freight or our specialized two-man service and are not present to receive the goods, a full-cost re-delivery fee will apply. This balance must be settled before re-delivery is scheduled.
- Smaller Accessories: Small items handled via Royal Mail or Evri typically arrive within 5 working days. We kindly ask that you allow up to 10 working days before reporting a parcel as missing.
Transit Insurance & Damage Claims Procedure
All items are fully insured against damage sustained during transit, strictly subject to the following structural policy terms:
- 24-Hour Reporting Window: Any damages sustained in transit MUST be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Transit insurance coverage becomes entirely void after this 24-hour period closes. Reports can be submitted via email to sales@la-maison-chic.co.uk or by calling 0800 133 7828. Photographic evidence of both the item and packaging is mandatory for claim processing.
- Signing Protocol: All deliveries must be signed for as "UNCHECKED" upon receipt to ensure your transit insurance coverage remains fully protected.
- Pre-Dispatch Standards: Every item undergoes rigorous quality assurance inspections prior to leaving our warehouse. If an item is reported broken without verifiable proof of transit damage, insurance coverage may be declined by our underwriters. By completing your purchase, you formally agree to these transit insurance policies and timelines.
