Hand Carved French Style Barbefleu Armoire Wardrobe in Distressed Finish is defined by its exquisite hand-carved ornamentation. From the delicate acanthus leaf frieze along the crown to the ornate rocaille shield on the scalloped apron, every inch reflects a commitment to traditional European craftsmanship. The six recessed panels offer a structured, symmetrical balance to the fluid, cabriole-style feet. Our signature distressed wash is applied by hand in a multi-step process, allowing the natural warmth of the wood grain to peek through. This curated patina mimics the soft wear of a cherished heirloom, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike.

Derlivery to ground floor rooms only, extra help needed at delivery point due to the weight and size of the product. Please measure all entrances, stairways and ceiling heights accurately. It will be delivered fully-assembled. If armoire has to delivered to an upstairs room, please contact us to book the disassembly and re-assembly service at a cost of £120.

Delivered Within 15 Working Days

All items are subject to availability. Orders are usually delivered within 15 working days, we send products mainly via (DPD Courier) 24 hour courier service this includes accessories, small-medium mirrors and some small furniture (goods dispatched by this service will be received next working day once dispatched from our warehouse). Our larger mirrors & furniture are sent via our specialist furniture delivery company to ensure safe delivery. This service is booked in prior to delivery with a delivery slot provided. To most of England and wales we offer 2 man delivery to room of choice as standard but some further areas we may be able to only offer door step delivery one man service or pallet freight depending on the product/order placed (if you live in Scotland, Cornwall, parts of Devon, remote parts of Wales or remote parts of Lake district please contact us to clarify the delivery service you will be offered). Delivery of some of our larger furniture to Scotland and Highlands may incur additional charges. we offer free delivery to Scotland if you purchase over £1500.00). All our items are fully insured for any damage sustained in transit subject to Terms & conditions.

We will always send an email on dispatch of your order advising delivery method, tracking and confirmation of your delivery date.

Out of stock items will be advised as such on purchase and will be dispatched as soon as they become available. We rely on supplier’s information on delivery dates of out of stock items and sometimes this information can change at short notice notice but we will endeavor to advise you if this happens as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Important

Courier companies can only hold your parcel for 7 days, so if you miss your delivery, always contact them as soon as possible to re-arrange delivery. If goods are returned to sender re-delivery & return charges will apply. If you confirm delivery with our pallet freight delivery or 2 man delivery van couriers and are not available on delivery to take the goods as confirmed a re-delivery charge at full delivery cost will apply. This is to be paid before goods are re-delivered.

Smaller items will be delivered by Royal Mail/My Hermes should take no longer than 5 days to reach you, but please allow up to 10 days before contacting us to report your parcel as missing.

Damage to Goods in Transit

Goods received damaged MUST be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Your insurance cover will be INVALID after the 24 hour period from time of receipt of delivery. You can contact us via email sales@la-maison-chic.co.uk or call us on 0800 1337828 to report damage. Photos will be required as evidence for insurance claim purposes.

All goods delivered MUST be signed for as unchecked or your transit insurance cover might be invalidated. If goods are received damaged and there is no evidence to prove that goods were damaged whilst in transit your insurance cover on your goods might become invalidated by our insurers. All goods are fully checked prior to dispatch. On Purchase of Goods you are agreeing to our Terms & conditions of our transit insurance policies.

Delivery Charges

Mainland UK – All items are sent to mainland UK free of charge (some larger products to Cornwall, parts of Wales, Scotland and Highlands may incur additional charges at checkout).

Non Mainland UK – Delivery to non UK mainland may be subject to additional charges at checkout.

Northern Scotland – Small furniture and mirrors to N.Scotland are free of charge, larger furniture & mirrors to Scotland and Highlands may incur additional charges at checkout.

Other Countries

We can deliver to pretty much anywhere in the world with very competitive delivery prices offering a tailored service to safely pack and transport the order on specially made pallets or crates for safe international delivery. To get an international delivery quote please go to checkout and complete "request online delivery quote". We will return a delivery quote to you within 1 working day.

If you are not satisfied with the goods you have a right to cancel the contract (please note. we hold the right to charge a 10% cancellation fee if an order is cancelled. This can occur if we have costs to cover due to the cancellation of the order). You can return the goods and receive either a refund for the amount of the goods minus costs of delivery or opt to receive alternative goods. (please note the customer is responsible for returning the goods at their own costs. We will also not take responsibility for damages upon return. Please send an e-mail to us before you return goods, telling us that you are returning the goods and why. returns will only be accepted up to 14 days after delivery and have to be returned in their original packaging for us to accept return of goods, if for any reason you are unable to return goods in original packaging we will accept return of goods but minus 20% re-stocking fee of the value of the goods. if the item is damaged this has to be reported on day of delivery for insurance purposes, if not reported in time this will invalidate your damage in transit cover. If faulty goods have been received or you are not satisfied with the quality we will aim to replace the goods which we will exchange free of charge. If you wish to still cancel the contract of the sale and do not wish to have a replacement our returns policy will still apply & costings for delivery and return are responsible by the buyer. If for any reason we are unable to replace a faulty product we will arrange return of product and fully refund your payment.
